Wat ga je doen?

Olympia Roosendaal is looking for a fulltime Assistant Teamleader Logistics for one of its clients in Oud Gastel, conveniently located in the Breda, Etten-Leur, and Bergen op Zoom region. You will initially join the company on a temporary employment basis and will be actively involved in the day-to-day logistics operation. The salary ranges from €3,000 to €3,500 gross per month, depending on your experience. You will work regular daytime shifts from 8.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m., Monday through Friday. Around the end of each quarter, flexibility is required, as you may occasionally be asked to work on Saturdays. Saturday hours are compensated at an attractive 150% rate.

Your responsibilities

As an Assistant Teamleader Logistics, you will combine hands-on operational work with coordination and supervisory responsibilities. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the warehouse operation runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, checking, and distributing incoming materials;
  • Monitoring inventory and maintaining accurate stock levels;
  • Picking and preparing orders;
  • Supporting the team with day-to-day logistics activities;
  • Taking on additional supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Team Leader;
  • Acting as the first point of contact for colleagues on the warehouse floor;
  • Coordinating, supporting, and guiding a team of 18 employees.

Wie ben je?

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Assistant Teamleader Logistics who enjoys working in a dynamic warehouse environment and is comfortable taking on additional responsibility. To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or material handling;
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS);
  • Strong attention to detail and an accurate way of working;
  • Good organizational and time-management skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • The ability to coordinate and guide colleagues in a professional and motivating manner;
  • Physically fit and comfortable performing warehouse-related activities;
  • Good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage;
  • Willingness to work occasional Saturdays around the end of each quarter when required;
  • A reachtruck certificate is an advantage.

  • €0.23 per km travel allowance, applicable from 10 km up to a maximum commuting distance of 30 km;
