Wat ga je doen?

Want to gain experience or earn extra cash in a modern distribution center near Haarlem and Amsterdam? For sportswear brand AYBL, we are looking for motivated team members for the busiest period of the year.

You can already start in October! By joining early in October, you get a head start to get fully trained and comfortable before the Black Friday rush kicks off. Prefer to start later? You can also jump in at the beginning of November. The main peak period runs at full speed from November 9 through December 1, 2026, with an expected run-out until around December 15, 2026.

Roll up your sleeves
The pace is high inside the distribution center. It is physically active work in a dynamic environment where we push for the best results as a team. Thanks to scanner-based operations, your personal contribution is directly visible to team leaders, making your effort extra rewarding!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Order Picking: Collecting sportswear items at a fast pace using a digital scanner.
  • Packing & Shipping: Checking products, packing them neatly, and preparing them for dispatch.
  • Stock & Returns: Restocking shelves (replenishment) and processing return shipments.
  • Logistics Support: Loading, unloading, and keeping the work floor safe and tidy (housekeeping).

When Can You Start?
You can start at three different intake moments:

  • Monday, October 12: Early intake (start working immediately in October)
  • Monday, October 19: Mid-term intake
  • Thursday, November 5 or Friday November 6th: Start with the mandatory training day for the peak period

Key Dates & Timeline:

  • October 12 & 19: Early start options to get ahead of the rush.
  • November 5 & 6: Mandatory training days in preparation for the peak rush.
  • November 9 to December 1: Official peak period (Black Friday sale).
  • Until approx. December 15: Potential extension phase of operations.

Working Hours & Shifts
During this period, we work with two fixed schedules. You can indicate your preference:

  • Early shift: 07:00 – 15:00
  • Night shift: 23:00 – 07:00
  • Contract duration: Temporary peak-season project (approx. 2 months) with a chance to work longer at AYBL, depending on your performance.

Through Olympia, you will work for sportswear brand AYBL in Halfweg. This successful fashion brand delivers sports and lifestyle apparel throughout Europe. Thousands of packages leave this location near Haarlem daily. 

Wie ben je?

  • Available to start in October or early November until at least mid-December 2026
  • Full-time availability for the early shift (07:00 - 15:00) OR night shift (23:00 - 07:00)
  • Winner's mindset and the energy for physical work (working with scanning targets)
  • Flexible to work across different departments
  • Good command of English (for instructions and equipment)
  • Accurate, punctual, and reliable
  • You can reach the location on time to start with work

Houtrijkweg 2, Unit B, 1165 AB Halfweg

Accessibility & Travel Time (Important!)

  • Car / Private Transport: Easily accessible with ample free parking.
  • Public Transport: From Haarlem Spaarnwoude train station, it is more than a 30-minute walk. Please account for this when opting for early or night shifts!

Documents & Application Condition

Please bring the following original documents to your intake interview:

  • Valid ID: Original Dutch/EU passport, national ID card, or residence permit (no driver's license, expired document, or copy).
  • Proof of BSN: If your BSN is not listed on your ID, bring an official government document (such as a BRP excerpt) (no screenshots).

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • Salary: €15.42 gross per hour
  • Performance Bonus: Up to €200 gross extra (€75 in week 1, €75 in week 2, €50 final sprint bonus for flawless attendance)

  • Payout: Weekly on Wednesday
  • Travel Allowance: €0.23 per kilometer
  • Training: Fixed onboarding days on November 5 and 6 (unless starting earlier in October)
